  Always use stitch markers to mark your rounds.
  Socks are worked from the toe up.
  Instructions are given using a circular needle for the magic loop method.
  If you’re making your socks using the magic loop method, be sure to pull tight each time when knitting the 1st stitch on each one of the needles (front and back) to prevent a hole.
STARTING the TOE
Using the turkish cast on and with the 3.25mm needles, CO 24 sts over 2 needles (12sts on ea needle)
(with another skein of yarn, cast on an additional 24sts if you're going to be making 2 at a time)
  Rnd 1: k all sts on front and back needles (12sts on ea needle = 24sts)
  Rnd 2: *k1, m1l, k to last st, m1l, k1* repeat from * to * for the back needle (14sts on ea needle = 28sts)
  Rnd 3: k all sts on front and back needles (14sts on ea needle = 28sts)
Repeat rounds 2-3 until you have 28 sts on each needle = 56sts total

STARTING the FOOT
NOTE: The cables are worked over 6 stitches only on the front needles.
  Rnd 18: k1, *p2, k4* repeat from * to * 2 more times, p2, k1, k28 from back needle (28sts on ea needle = 56sts)
  Rnd 19: repeat rnd 18
  Rnd 20: k, *p2, place 2sts on cn & hold to front, k2, k2 from cn* repeat from * to * 2 more times, p2, k1, k28 from back needle
  Rnd 21-24: repeat rnd 18
Repeat round 20-24 til you reach round 66.
At this point, your sock should reach where you’re foot meets your leg.

STARTING the HEEL (fleegle heel)
NOTE: for the front needle we will continue working the same pattern that we have been doing while for the back needle we will start increasing to form a “V”. As you start doing the heel, you will start seeing a pattern and it will become easy.
  Rnd 67: repeat rnd 18 for front needle, back needle-> k1, m1r, k to last st, m1l, k1 (28front + 30back = 58sts)
  Rnd 68: repeat rnd 18 for front needle, back needle-> k30 (58sts)

  Rnd 88: repeat rnd 18 for front needle, back needle-> k50 (78sts)
For the following round, we will only be working on the front needle as follows…
  Rnd 89: repeat rnd 18 and leave the back needles unworked.

STARTING the HEEL TURN
NOTE: we would only be working on the back needle in rows to start decreasing and shaping the heel.
Place a marker at the center of the heel (back needle).
You should have 25sts on each side (50sts total)
knit 2sts pass the marker, ssk, k1, turn your work, pull yarn tight,
slip 1st st, purl 2sts pass the marker, p2tog, p1, turn,
*slip 1st st, knit to the gap, ssk the st before & after the gap together, k1, turn,
slip 1st st, purl to the gap, p2tog the st before & after the gap together, p1, turn*
repeat from * to * until you have no stitches left to decrease
You should have ended with the wrong/purl side and with 28sts (original amount before increasing). Turn your work and knit across.
Repeat above process on 2nd sock.

STARTING the LEG
  Rnd 90: repeat rnd 20 on front and back needles (56sts)
  Rnd 91-94: repeat rnd 18 on front and back needles (56sts)
Keep repeating round 90-94 ‘til you reach round 131 or desired length.

STARTING the CUFF

  Rnd: 132-136: k1, p1 on front and back needles (56sts)
Bind off by using Jeny's surprisingly stretchy bind off.
Secure and weave in the ends.
