Ice Cream Cone Appliqué

By JC Designs
They would be great for applying to any projects or as home decor for example decorating kitchen curtains, dishcloths, etc. or making them into fridge magnets.

SIZE
The ice cream cone measures approx. 2.5” inches long but size can vary based on yarn and hook size.

MATERIALS
*Crochet hook size: 3.0mm
*Worsted weight yarn: small amounts of beige and any other color of choice
*Felt: Red
*Hot Glue
*Tapestry Needle

PATTERN NOTES
Numbers in ( ) at the end of each round or row indicate the total number of stitches for that round or row.

CONE (beige)
  Row 1: ch 10 (10)
Row 2: dc in 4th ch from hook (skip chs count as one dc), dc in next ch, hdc in next 3chs, sc in next ch, 4sc in next ch, other side of the chs sc in next ch, hdc in next 3chs, dc in next 3chs, ch 1 turn, (18)

ASSEMBLY
This is really easy. Simply sew the ice cream on top of the cone. Cut a circle from red felt and sew/glue it in place at the top of the ice cream and that would be the cherry topping.
If your going to make it into a fridge magnet glue a small magnet in the back.
I made them into fridge magnets to hold my son's (he's 5years old) masterpieces. :)

Have a nice crochet time!
